RETURNS
STRICT TERMS & CONDITIONS OF RETURN AND REFUND
1. Mandatory Notification Procedure
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day "cooling-off" period to cancel your order. However, this is subject to our Strict Notification Protocol:
-
The Formal Form: To exercise your right to cancel, you must download, print, and manually sign our Statutory Cancellation Form. Informal emails or verbal requests will be rejected as "incomplete notifications."
-
Submission: The completed form must be scanned and emailed to [Your Email Address] or sent via recorded delivery. Your 14-day window begins only upon our receipt of a correctly formatted notification.
2. Hygiene Exemption & "Free Size" Acknowledgement
All socks sold on this website are classified as Hygiene-Sensitive Garments.
-
The "Tough Luck" Rule: By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that our products are "Free Size." Under Regulation 28(3)(a), the right to cancel is immediately forfeited the moment the hygiene seal, adhesive strip, or cardboard header-card is broken, removed, or tampered with.
-
No "Try-On" Period: Opening the packaging to "check the fit" or "feel the material" constitutes a breach of the hygiene barrier. We do not accept returns for any socks that have been removed from their original, factory-sealed state.
3. Diminished Value & Inspection
Under Regulation 34(9), we reserve the legal right to reduce your refund by up to 100% if the value of the goods has been diminished by "excessive handling."
-
Forensic Review: All returns undergo a manual inspection. If we detect any lint, skin cells, stretching, or scents (perfume/detergent), the refund value will be reduced to £0.00, as the item is no longer fit for resale.
4. Return Logistics & Cost
-
Customer Liability: Pursuant to Regulation 35, the consumer is solely responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
-
Risk of Loss: We do not acknowledge "Proof of Posting." You are strictly required to use a tracked and insured courier service. If the item is lost or damaged in transit, no refund will be issued.
-
The 14-Day Arrival Window: Goods must be physically received at our facility within 14 days of your cancellation notice. Items arriving after this window will be refused.
5. Refund Processing
We adhere to the maximum legal timeline for processing payments:
-
The 14-Day Hold: Refunds will be issued exactly 14 days after we have received and inspected the goods (or 14 days after you provide a valid, tracked proof of delivery).
-
Delivery Surcharges: Only the cost of our least expensive standard delivery will be refunded. Any "Express" or "Priority" shipping costs paid at checkout are strictly non-refundable.
6. Faulty Goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
If you believe a product is faulty:
-
Evidence Required: You must provide high-resolution photographic evidence of the manufacturing defect prior to returning the item.
-
User-Inflicted Damage: Damage caused by "excessive force" (e.g., holes caused by pulling socks on) is not a manufacturing fault and is not eligible for a refund.
